Christian Rex van Minnen

Christian Rex van Minnen was born in Providence, RI in 1980 and received his BA from Regis University, Denver in 2002, and currently lives in Santa Cruz, CA. van Minnen works across several mediums, including oil painting, printmaking, sculpture and digital media. He has exhibited throughout the US and internationally and was awarded an Artist-in-Residence at Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Aspen, CO. Public collections include Beth Rudin de Woody Collection, Hall Art Foundation, He Art Museum, Denver Art Museum, Long Museum, X Museum, Djurhuus Collection and Colecciōn Solo. Recent solo shows include “Skin Bone Quinacridone Adrenochrome” at Galeria Javier Lopez y Fer Frances, Madrid (2021), “It Comes In Waves” at Nanzuka Underground, Tokyo (2021) and an upcoming solo show May 2022 at Ross+Kramer Gallery (NYC).   ©Portrait image by Alex Nicholson
